Interior designer in Gatineau
A custom interior design service for Gatineau homeowners: plans, 3D renderings and material selection, from the first idea to the design package.
Custom design in Gatineau
Interior design, planned for the homes of Gatineau
As Quebec's fourth-largest city, Gatineau brings together very different kinds of homes: post-war bungalows, split-levels from the 1970s and 1980s, recent semi-detached homes in Le Plateau and condos near downtown. Each type of home comes with its own layout challenges, and that is exactly where design makes the difference.
Our designers come to you, take the measurements and create a plan that respects the existing structure, the light and the way you live. You see your project in 3D before a single wall is touched.

Frequently asked questions
Interior design in Gatineau, in brief
Do you offer interior design everywhere in Gatineau?
Yes. Our designers travel to every sector of Gatineau, from Hull and Aylmer to Buckingham and Masson-Angers, for the initial consultation and measurements.
Can my split-level home become open concept?
Often, yes. The layout plan is precisely what confirms what can be opened, what must stay load-bearing and how to distribute functions between levels before any work begins.
How much does an interior design project cost?
Every project is priced according to its floor area, the number of rooms and the level of detail you want. The quote is free and gives you a clear price before you begin.
Do I need a designer for a single room?
Yes, it is common. A kitchen, a bathroom or a basement can be a project in its own right, with custom plans and 3D renderings.
Do you offer remote design services?
Yes. Summex Design online (summexdesign.com) offers design packages carried out entirely remotely, for one room or the whole house.
